Vere Vidi

Iun tagon, la studento revenis de longa studado ĉe alia lernejo. Li eniris la ĝardenon kaj trovis la Zne Majstron, sidante apud la fonto dum rigardi la florojn. "Majstro," li komencis. "Ĉe la alia lernejo, mi lernis ke la plej gravan aferon kiun faras homa spirito estas vere vidi ion, kaj priskribi ĝin klare en simpla maniero. Tie ili diras ke vidi klare estas poetece, profetece, kaj relegiece!"

La Zne Majstro rigardis lin momente kaj respondis, "Granda peco de muko pendas el via nazo."

One day, the student returned from a long period of study at another school. He entered the garden and found the Zne Majstro sitting next to a fountain looking at the flowers. "Majstro," he began. "At the other school, I learned that the most important thing which the human spirit can do is to truly see something, and to describe it clearly in a simple manner. There they say that seeing clearly is poetic, profetic, and religious!"

The Zne Majstro looked at him for a moment and said, "There's a big piece of mucus hanging out of your nose."
